What do you like most about serving at Tequesta’s Church?
I love serving at a church that is solely about building God’s Kingdom here in South Florida and around the world. I also love working with our staff who is always thinking of ways to break down barriers to the Gospel. My wife Natalie grew up at TFBC, so serving here feels a lot like home.

What is your favorite way to spend time with your family?
My family loves going on walks together and playing at the park. My wife Natalie and I love eating out and sipping lattes at Starbucks. Natalie humors me by watching basketball with me, and I return the favor by watching a few Food Network shows with her.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up right here in northern Palm Beach County. My dad is also a pastor in the area.

What is your favorite scripture?
My favorite passage of scripture is Philippians chapter 2. This passage causes me to think so many things. Every time I think of the passage or read it I am humbled that Christ left heaven for us, and that he lived such a tough life for us. I am also forced to think about how I live my own life and to try to measure up to the “others centered” life that Christ lived.

Besides the Bible, what book have you read that changed your life?
I enjoy reading anything that discusses creative ways to reach people with God’s love, but a couple books that stand out are Let the Nations be Glad by John Piper, Purpose Driven Church by Rick Warren, and Simple Church by Thom Rainer and Eric Geiger.

What is the most listened to song on your ipod?
Like a Lion by the David Crowder Band.

Other than Bible characters, who is your hero?
My dad and every other pastor that will go down unnamed in church culture, but will be highly known in eternity for their constant giving of their self for the Kingdom of God.

Where did you propose to Natalie?
I proposed to my wife Natalie on the beach at the Ritz-Carlton in Palm Beach. Still can’t believe she said yes!
